THE RULES
In all research, in all searches for the Truth, there must indeed be rules to which all sources of information must apply. These are the guidelines which are followed to ensure that the answers to the questions asked, and the research done, are all True and sound. In researching the Truth from the lie, Three main rules which must always be considered are as follows.
The Bible is the Word of God. It is not God's "thoughts" or "intentions" but is the very WORDS of God, spoken by Him, written down through chosen people throughout the generations. It is not simply a book of rules, or a book of morals, but is a Guide to help us go through life knowing right from wrong, knowing Truth from Lie. And being that it is the Infallible Word of God, it is to be the Final Authority in ALL matters. Being this, it is not subject to personal beliefs, but rather personal beliefs are subject to It. We are not to skillfully twist the Words of God, to fit what we believe, but rather we know the Truth by the clear and evident reading of the Word of God. This Rule, is also subject to the First Rule. As said in Romans 3:4 ". . . yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;. . ." The words of people, are so very often deceptive, whether intentional or unintentional. It must never be forgotten that there are two contrary forces at work in this world: Godly and ungodly. Therefore, many people lie and deceive--intentionally. And yet, a good and honest person can be deceived personally, and without knowing, can teach others that deception--thus unintentionally deceiving others. So when concerning the words of people, special treatment must be made to be sure that person is truthful in what is said or written. Therefore, a great way to determine the truth of men's words, is by digging deep and checking their words, against first the Bible, and if nothing is found in the Bible, then research other men's words, to try to verify that person's words.
This "force" is Satan and his minions (those who follow him). Satan is a fallen angel who was cast out of heaven because of his pride. He sought to be higher than God and sought to be worshiped more than God Himself. Therefore we can not decide when searching for the Truth, that all is well and that there is no opposition to us or the Truth! Let us never forget this important Truth and Rule!
